Meet the Staff
Allan I. Davis, President/Accountant and Tax Practitioner achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967 from the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia and has been in practice since 1977.
In 1968, Allan entered into the United States Air Force during the “Vietnam War” and served four years, with a tour of duty of two and one-half years on Okinawa at Kadena Air Force Base (SAC) and the remaining time at Westover Air Force Base (SAC) in Springfield, Massachusetts. Upon discharge from the United States Air Force, Allan had completed eighteen hours toward a MBA degree at Western New England University, Springfield, Massachusetts.
Allan’s professional career includes working as a Financial Analyst for Fortune “500” company W.R. Grace & Co., Recreational Vehicles Division in Sherman Oaks, CA., a Division Controller for then publicly traded Sportscoach Corporation of America (a luxury class motorhome manufacturer) in Chatsworth, CA., an owner and operator of a fishing and camping resort in Newberry Springs, CA., and a Controller for the prestige La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, CA.
Allan maintains credentials as an Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP), Accredited by the Accreditation Council For Accountancy & Taxation, Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP), and a participant in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) and through other participation in Continuing Professional Education courses offered by national accounting, tax, and financial organizations including the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), National Society of Accountants (NSA), the Arizona Association of Accounting and Tax Professionals (AAATP), and the Prescott Arizona Estate Planning Council Inc.(PEPC). These organizations mandate extensive continuing education and experience requirements. Allan has conducted various seminars in the Southwest, presenting topics related to Equine and Alpaca Farm and Ranch tax issues.
Eileen L. Davis, Vice President/Accountant and Tax Practitioner achieved her Associates Degree in Computer Science and has been in practice since 1977. She attended classes at Moorpark College and La Salle University.
In 1968, Eileen entered into the United States Air Force during the “Vietnam War” and served three years, with a tour of duty of two and one-half years on Okinawa at Kadena Air Force Base (SAC) and the remaining time at Westover Air Force Base (SAC) in Springfield, Massachusetts. Eileen was responsible for the operation of the Univac 1050-II computer system working under the Air Force Chief of Supply and has an extensive background in the operation of computer systems up and including current PC’s.
Eileen’s professional career includes working for a CPA firm in the preparation of business financial statements, write up, payroll, and income tax return preparation, working in the accounting department for the Landmark Land Company (a land developer and resort hotel owner) in La Quinta, CA., an owner and operator of a fishing and camping resort in Newberry Springs, CA., and an adjunct teacher in the equine studies program teaching the course “Starting a Horse Business” at Yavapai College, Chino Valley, AZ.
Eileen has conducted various seminars in the Southwest, presenting topics related to Equine and Alpaca Farm and Ranch tax issues. Eileen has written and self published seven business books including, Amateurs Guide To Starting A Horse Business, Horse Deductions & Income, Harnessing & Saddling A Step By Step Guide, Horseranch Business Plan, Alpacas As A Business, Alpaca Business Plan, and The Ultimate Alpacas As A Business.
She also owns and operates the Davis Ranch Combined Driving Center at her ranch in Prescott, AZ., specializing in the sport of Equestrian Singles Combined Driving.
Lee Marshall, Administrative Assistant
Lee greets everyone with a smile (either in person or by phone) and handles the day to day operation of our office. She is caring and considerate to all of our clients and colleagues. She is professional, skilled, and loyal and has been with our Firm since 2005.
Lee’s professional career includes working as a full charge Bookkeeper for eight years with Motorcycle Mechanics Institute ( a subsidiary of Universal Technical Institute of Phoenix, AZ) and as a Financial Systems Analyst for fifteen years with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona handling cash control, accounts receivable, IRS tax reporting, and data processing system conversions.
Lee is a native Arizonan, a graduate of Glendale Arizona High School, and attended Glendale Community College attaining approximately fifty credit hours in Business.
